Scotland is a small country – in one day, in a comfortable car and with a good guide, you can see a lot. On this page I offer several interesting one-day tours to the most beautiful places of Scotland.
We can start the trip from almost anywhere in central Scotland. I can meet you at the airport, train station, hotel or anywhere else in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Tours are designed for a group of not more than four people. If you are more, I can rent a minivan for 7 people (the tour will cost a little more).
During the tour, we will not be limited to any rigid plan. We can stop in any picturesque place. In one place we can stop to look at the hairy cows or taste whiskey, in the other listen to the bagpipers. Everything depends on your desires, the time of the year, the weather, the cultural program.
Whichever tour you choose, you will have unique views, ancient castles and unforgettable impressions.
The itinerary of the trip: Stirling castle, the Trossachs national park, Loch Lomond lake, Glasgow city
This tour is for those who love the legends of Scottish heroes Rob Roy, Robert Bruce and William Wallace. You are waited by tremendously beautiful views of shimmering lakes and mountains covered with forests.
During the tour we will visit the medieval fortress of Sterling Castle . This important historic castle is located on top of a basalt rock in the middle of the only plain of Scotland.
Then, along the picturesque road, we will head for the Trossachs National Park. This mountainous area covered with forests was once inhabited by warlike Scottish clans and was home to the hero of the Scottish legends of Rob Roy.
After lunch we will head to one of the most beautiful lakes of Scotland, Loch Lomond, where we will have the opportunity to walk along the lake or climb a small hill near the lake from which beautiful views are opened.
On the way back to Edinburgh we will visit the largest city of Scotland – Glasgow . In Glasgow, we will have about 2 hours to explore the city centre with its Victorian architecture and unique atmosphere.
